The second and final issue of this year is being published late for reasons unknown to the editor of the Journal. Until October 2011, Ignaziana was published under the sponsorship of the Centro Ignaziano di Spiritualità (CIS) of the Italian Province of the Society of Jesus, with its headquarters in Naples. At the present time, however, the Journal finds itself in a transitional situation; following a reorganisation of the CIS, Ignaziana must find another source of support for publication. As a result of this reorganisation, the editorial committee that produced the Journal for six years can no longer do its work. Until a more clear and stable arrangement can be found, the Journal for the time being is being published by the founding director, who is solely responsible for this second issue of 2011.
While awaiting a resolution of the present situation, we assure our readership that it is our wish to continue this service.
In closing, in this time of Advent, I send you my best wishes that your celebration of the Birth of our Saviour might be especially blessed, and that you might have a happy and holy New Year.
Fr. Rossano Zas Friz S.I.
