In the current editorial horizon of journals of Ignatian spirituality, research articles and in-depth studies do not find adequate editorial space, and authors not infrequently find it difficult to publish their work. Because the circulating journals are aimed at a wide audience, researchers are encouraged to publish short papers, avoiding specialized language, often forcing them to non-publication or publication as “guests” in research journals that do not specialize in spirituality. Welcoming and complementing the specialized production that finds its inspiration in the Christian experience of St. Ignatius of Loyola, Ignaziana aspires to fill this void.
