Enamórate

Lyrics: inspired by the spirituality of Fr. P. Arrupe, S.I.

Nothing is more practical than finding God,
nothing is more practical than
finding God. Fall in love, remain in love.
Fall in love, everything will be different.

It will be what gets you out of bed in the morning
what you do with your evenings.
It will be what captures your imagination
and ends up leaving its mark on everything.

What you read and learn, what breaks your heart
what overwhelms you with joy and gratitude
nothing is more practical than finding God
nothing is more practical than finding God.

Pedro Arrupe (1907-1991) was a Spanish Jesuit and Superior General of the Society of Jesus from 1965 to 1983. A missionary in Japan, he witnessed the horror of the atomic bomb in Hiroshima and dedicated his life to social justice and the defense of the poor. In 2019, he was proclaimed Servant of God, and on November 14, 2024, the diocesan phase of his beatification process was concluded.
